Majeed Ashimeru likely to get more playing time at Anderlecht

Majeed Ashimeru started against RSC Anderlecht last Sunday due to an injury to Kristoffer Olssen. The Ghanaian midfielder played his fourth game in the Jupiler Pro League.

Majeed Ashimeru delivered a strong performance against KAS Eupen. He was in the Purple & White starting lineup for the first time since November 21 of last year.

Ashimeru does not find it strange that he is not a regular starter. “There is a lot of competition here, so that is not abnormal. I support everyone who plays because winning is the most important thing,"

"When you get fifteen minutes every time, it is difficult to show yourself. Starting a match is still the best way to make your mark," Ashimeru told Het Nieuwsblad.
