Majeed Ashimeru nets in Anderlecht win against KRC Genk

Ghana's Majeed Ashimeru was on the scoresheet as RSC Anderlecht recorded a 2-0 impressive win against KRC Genk in the Belgium Jupiler Pro League.

Ashimeru broke the deadlock in the 36th minutes.

Yari Verschaeren made it 2-0 for the Purple And Whites outfit as they ended the first half with a healthy lead at the break.

Kristoffer Olsson replaced the Ghanaian international after 81 minutes when his side was cruising to a 2-0 win.

The 24-year-old versatile midfielder has three goals and three assists in 26 games this season in the Belgium Jupiler Pro League for the giants, Anderlecht.
