Mallam Issah is of the view that the Israeli manager has failed to add a bit to the level of play of the Black Stars ever since the former Chelsea boss took charge last year.

The former Minister, opined that it is wrong for the coach to have looked down on the selection of players from the local league.

Speaking to the media in an interview, Mallam Issah said, “Avram Grant talks nonsense, he talks rubbish. What exceptional players has Avram Grant added to the Black Stars? He is still using the old players [former coach] Kwesi Appiah introduced to the team,”

“This coach is doing nothing with the Black Stars. I have always hammered, let’s support Kwesi Appiah and resolve issues with him so he can manage the Black Stars rather than bring foreign coaches.

“There are so many talents in Ghana if we are to make good use of them it will help in developing our football.” he added.

The Black Stars are currently preparing for a friendly match against Russia national team in Moscow which comes off later today.
