The Sun reports Sterling was allegedly racially abused and attacked by a fan at the Manchester City training ground on Saturday morning.

The England winger scored twice as City smashed Tottenham 4-1 - but was apparently branded a "n*****" at the players' entrance to the Man City academy.

Sterling is said to have pulled into the entrance for the car park at which point he was confronted by a man hurling abuse.

Sterling then apparently got out of his car to ask what the problem was, only to be kicked in the leg.

It is not yet clear if the club have decided to report the incident to Greater Manchester Police, although it is believed that the incident was caught on CCTV.
