Guardiola called a wild tackle by Tottenham's Alli "dangerous" as City made it 16 wins in a row with a 4-1 win over Spurs.

And Harry Kane was also lucky to just see yellow for a late, high lunge on Raheem Sterling.

Guardiola was unhappy with Alli, saying: "It was a dangerous action."

On the game, he added: "It was solid, good, against one team demanding to be intense without the ball.

"They have good quality, but we played really good to beat one of the strongest teams in the Premier League."
