Man City boss Guardiola dismisses Wenger complaints: We deserved Arsenal win

Pep Guardiola says Manchester City deserved their 3-1 win over Arsenal on Sunday.

Kevin De Bruyne's clinical strike opened the scoring after 19 minutes before Sergio Aguero doubled the Citizens advantage from the spot-kick shortly after half-time.

Alexandre Lacazette pulled one back for the Gunners with twenty-five minutes remaining, however, Gabriel Jesus put the game to bed shortly after he was set up by David Silva, who was shown later to be offside.

Speaking after the win, the City boss said: "We created a lot of chances. Against Arsenal, the game is never over. But considering we played a CL game, we were so strong.

"We won. We deserved it. Three more points. My wish now is the players come back healthy from the international break.

"We can be more solid. We play well and the players again did an amazing performance. We are so happy."

And asked about the incidents by Sky Sports, he had said: "No, we won, we won in the best way, and we deserved by far the victory. For the way we played and the chances we create, and the few chances we concede.

"The penalty was a penalty, the offside was offside but we won because we were better."
