The Germany international is a free agent at the end of season after rejecting a new contract from the Bundesliga club.

Goretzka has expressed his desire to join a club in England, which has piqued the interest of Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool.

And now, according to the Mirror, City boss Pep Guardiola wants the 22-year-old to replace Yaya Toure in the midfield.
