Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku is ready to sign with Adidas.

The Daily Mail says Lukaku signed with Nike while at Everton and is in a matching rights period, allowing him to sample other brands.

Lukaku, who can expect to command around £1million a year from any new contract, has been switching between both Nike and adidas boots for matches over the last three months.

Only the finer details of the agreement are left to complete.

Bonuses for goals scored for United and Belgium are likely to be included. The move will further enhance the adidas portfolio at Old Trafford.
