Man Utd Legend Rio Ferdinand Risks Fans' Wrath by Claiming Arsenal and Liverpool Won't Make Top Four

Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand believes that Premier League giants Arsenal and Liverpool won't make the top fourat the end of this campaign after he told BT Sport- as reported by theDaily Star-on live air.

Arsenal were taken down 3-1 by Liverpool on Saturdaynight, therefore knocking the Gunners back to fifth positionin the Premier League table.Arsene Wenger's side now finds themselves sitting just outside the Champions League places.


Ferdinand thinks his former club Manchester United will edge over these two rivals when it comes to claiming a top-four spot.

"I think it's going to be Arsenal and Liverpool to miss out," he said on BT Sport.


"I think United will make the top four. They have got into a groove and mentality of winning.


"Today they drew but they've been getting results."


The 38-year-old pundit has now stirred the Liverpool and Arsenal fans who think each of their sides can clinch a vital top-four place, althoughmany football viewers will think that ex-England international is sharing objective analysis on BT Sport.

"I think Jose Mourinho is the type who can pick them up."


The Manchester United veteran does hold experiencewhen it comes to claiming a top-four spot in the Premier League.


Ferdinand has given his verdict on Arsenal and Liverpool's finish and it is probably something their supporters won't want here at this stage of the season.
