Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic is backing former club Chelsea to beat Tottenham to Champions League qualification.
Matic was outstanding in the 2-1 win over Chelsea on Sunday.
The defeat left Chelsea two points outside the top four in the race for the top four, but Matic took no joy in denting their Champions League hopes.
When pressed on whether he hopes his old club overtake Spurs, he added: "I wish Chelsea all the best. I can only say that."
