Man Utd News: Trialist Rines Arifi \'watched by Liverpool, Man City\'; Big Sam says squad \'£700M short\'

Swedish whizkid Rines Arifi has completed his trials with Manchester United.

The Husie IF junior trained with United last week.

Dad Hajriz told Sportbladet: "The test game went very well and we are waiting for a message now. There are very many clubs that are interested. There were coaches, scouts and representatives from many different big clubs. Manchester City, Manchester United, Aston Villa, Liverpool - all possible. It was a really cool experience."

Meanwhile, Former England coach Sam Allardyce believes Manchester United's squad is £700 MILLION behind the teams of former manager Sir Alex Ferguson.

United boss Jose Mourinho splashed out almost £150 million on new talent in the summer in the shape of Romelu Lukaku, Nemanja Matic and Victor Lindelof.

But Allardyce believes Mourinho's squad is still short.

"Everybody plays more open attractive football if you've got the players, if you've gone and spent and bought those players," Allardyce told beIN Sports.

“Finding those players is harder than ever before, there's fewer of them and they're hundreds of millions of pounds now.

“It's a very difficult task now to build a Manchester United team that Sir Alex Ferguson had for instance.

“That would cost you probably in the region of six or £700 million in today's market."
