The Daily Express says United boss Jose Mourinho could offer Tottenham Luke Shaw in a bid to land Walker.
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino, who has worked with Shaw at Southampton, was keen to sign the England international last summer.
However, the Red Devils snubbed a loan offer for the talented left-back.
