Manchester United may have endured a difficult period on the pitch ever since the departure of Sir Alex Ferguson back in 2013, but the lack of success does not seem to have affected the Red Devils' ability to make money off the pitch.
According to reports from auditors KPMG, Manchester United are the most valuable club in the world at €3.004 billion (£2.61bn), ahead of both Real Madrid (€2.895bn) and Barcelona (€2.688bn) while the likes of Bayern Munich (€2.367bn), Manchester City (€1.909bn), Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Juventus and Tottenham Hotspur round off the top ten.
