Published on: 30 January 2018

Manchester United's U23 side suffered a disappointing defeat to Tottenham's U23's. United were the home side at Old Trafford, but it was Spurs who emerged as the runaway winners.

It was a remarkable result for Tottenham, given they missed a penalty and gave United the lead through a soft goal in the 50th minute. However, Spurs rallied in the last 30 minutes of the game and scored three impressive goals.

Keanan Bennetts got the London side level, before Jack Roles and Kazaiah Sterling scored the goals to give Tottenham a 3-1 win.

Spurs U23s will go on to face Liverpool in their next Premier League 2 clash.
