Man Utd yet to offer Young new terms

Manchester United are yet to offer terms to Ashley Young.

The Manchester Evening News says Young is hopeful of agreeing a new deal at United.

The 32-year-old has impressed for Jose Mourinho's side this term, starting 17 of their 24 Premier League matches.

But United are yet to trigger an extension in Young's contract that expires this summer.

United extended Luke Shaw's contract, having done the same with Ander Herrera in November, but it is understood United have not yet acted over Young, Juan Mata, Daley Blind and on-loan goalkeeper Sam Johnstone even though the quartet's deals expire in the summer.
