Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has said that his future is in the hands of the club, with speculation rife linking him with Real Madrid and Chelsea of late.

The Argentinian started on the bench against Swansea City on Sunday, for the second game in a row, watching on as Brazilian sensation Gabriel Jesus took centre stage, before joining him late on.

Aguero is reportedly a £75m target for the Premier League leaders, and many feel that Pep Guardiola is prepared to make Jesus the main man up front, with the youngster having scored twice to give City the win and take them into third place on Sunday, following a goal against West Ham on his first start for the club last week.

The forward insists that he will do whatever it takes to help City until the end of the season, and will then leave it up to them to decide on whether he leaves or stays.

In these last three months that are left I have to help the club and as I say the club will decide if I have a place here or not, he said following Sunday's win.

"I have to help the team as much as I can in these three months, afterwards we'll see what the club wants to do with me.

"Now I have to watch what he Gabriel Jesus does, to learn a little.I am how I am. I have spent a lot of years in Europe playing this way."

Guardiola, meanwhile, is claiming that Aguero will still have a huge part to play in the team this campaign.

"Aguero is going to play a lot of games." he declared.

"He's going to play with Gabriel, without Gabriel, but today I stuck with the same three."
