Manchester City strikerKelechi Iheanacho has denied reports that he has fallen out with manager Pep Guardiola, despite rumours that he is frustrated over a lack of playing time this season.

The 20-year-old Nigerian was expected to play a greater role in the first team this season, following a number of impressive performances from the bench last year.

However, the young striker has so farhad his chances limited due to the form of Sergio Aguero and the recent £27m arrival of Gabriel Jesus.

Great result for the team tonight. So blessed to get on the pitch, and the goal a bonus!! On to¦ https://t.co/kTNtUt8nD7

Even though Iheanacho has not been a regular feature in the City starting lineup, he still spoke highly of boss Guardiola and the job he is doing at the club.

"I've got a good relationship with the manager “ everyone here has a good relationship with him", theMirrorquote him as saying.

"We are happy to have him here. He will take this club far, because he is a great manager. When you are not playing, you need to train harder. You need to keep faith.

"And when you come into the team, you have to do exactly what your team-mates are doing to help the team achieve something."

Despite having 21 appearances to his name this season, only 10 of those have come from the start of matches. However, he has still managed to grab seven goals this season, his latest coming in City's 5-1 FA Cup victoryover Huddersfield last Wednesday night.
