In an exciting move signaling a commitment to nurturing promising talent, Manchester United coach Ten Hag has handpicked two exceptional Ghanaian youngsters to join the squad for their highly anticipated pre-season trip to Norway.

Omari Forson is an England U16 international who trained with West Ham and Tottenham Hotspur before joining Man Utd's academy. On August 7, 2021, signed his first professional contract with Manchester United.

Mainoo signed his first professional contract in May 2022. His performances, including a good midfield display against Carlisle United in the EFL Trophy, earned him a callup to the senior squad for training in October 2022. Mainoo was named on the bench for the first time on 16 October, ahead of a Premier League match against Newcastle United.

Erik ten Hag is leading 26 Manchester United players to Norway for the club's first pre-season friendly against Leeds United.

The game in Oslo provides an opportunity for the players to get some playing time before the start of the new season.

Leeds are preparing for a return to the Championship after being relegated from the Premier League last season.
