Manchester United have signed young Dutch sensation Millen Baars from Ajax, according to the Ajax Showtime website (H/TManchester Evening News).

Baars, a 16-year-old midfielder who can play out on the wing or behind the striker, became available after a falling out with his coaches, and the Red Devils wasted no time in snatching him up.

He was due to captain the B side at Ajax, but things changed drastically over a period of time, and he decided to join United's Under-18's, for whom he's eligible to play for in January.

Baars has been compared to Arsenal great Thierry Henry because of his pace and ability to blow past defenders. He can also provide a great scoring option from the wings, but can also drop back and pick up the ball from central positions to initiate attacks.

The teenager will hope to avoid the path of compatriot Memphis Depay, who signed for the Old Trafford side under Louis van Gaal last year. Depay has so farfailed to make an impression, and could soon find himself out the exit door if something drastic doesn't happen.

He will, however, do well to emulate 18-year-old Marcus Rashford. The young Englishman has been an a real game-changer for United, and will hope to have a good performance against Chelsea on Sunday.

Rashford has urged his teammates to make things happen as early as possible when they face the Blues at Stamford Bridge.

"You never know how the game is going to be until you get out there but I think it's important we get into the game and start fast," hesaid.

"That's what we did against Liverpool, we got into their faces and showed we weren't going to be pushed around, and we need to go there with a similar attitude.

"The bigger the games are, the better for us."
