Borussia Dortmund's Christian Pulisic is glad that the media speculation around Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is over and that the club can now focus on improving their form.
Marco Reus is closing in on a return from injury and could be in the Borussia Dortmund squad for Saturday's Bundesliga match against Hamburg, coach Peter Stoger has said.
Germany international winger Reus suffered a knee injury during the 2-1 DFB Pokal final win over Eintracht Frankfurt in May and has not featured since.
But he is now poised to return and Stoger told a news conference: "He's been out for months, and I know that he would love to play and he knows we'd love to have him on board.
"He has not had setbacks. He feels good, but he will have his say whenever he feels ready to play.
"We'll make a sensible decision. It looks good so far. We'll see. It could happen, or maybe next week.
"It's nothing new when I tell you that he's one of the few players able to seriously change a game because of his individual quality, because of his technique, because of his vision, because of his pace."
Marco Reus has not featured for Borussia Dortmund since May.
Stoger stressed that he would "allow him time" and added: "It was a major injury and he's a good lad.
"But I won't say he's the saviour for those things we might not have solved ideally so far, and that he must correct everything now."
This week, Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke indicated that there could be sweeping changes at the club in the summer.
But Stoger played down the remarks and said: "It's not like Aki Watzke does this interview and the lads start running more.
"It's a process, and that normally needs time. I am not saying that if Watzke's saying something nobody will listen, but it's just a process which needs time."
Stoger denied Watzke's interview could lead to unrest, saying: "Did he say that [that players need to leave] or is that your interpretation? I can't remember a player has been run out of town here.
"Every player has the opportunity to show his worth and those who take it need not worry -- the others must step on the gas."
