Borussia Dortmund coach Thomas Tuchel feels that the injury suffered by super star Marco Reus during the 6-2 demolition of Bayer Leverkusen has taken the shine off of the impressive victory, as reported byESPN.

The German international has only featured 15 times this season due to injury problems, and was forced off in the first half of Saturday's victory. He will now miss the second leg of Dortmund's Champions League round of 16 tie against Benfica. Benfica lead 1-0 form the first leg.

Tuchel said that:"It's a real blow. In the opening stages today, Marco was the one who constantly got us going, who took the responsibility, who was alert.

"He has been incredibly stable for weeks now, he's been playing at a high level and is an important character to have on the pitch.

"The fact he can't play on Wednesday is an enormous loss and takes the shine off the win."

BVB were already 2-0 up when Reus was substituted thanks to goals from Ousmane Dembele and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Leverkusen twice pulled to within one goal following goals from Kevin Volland and Wendell either side of Aubameyang's second goal, his 21st league goal of the season. Substitutes Christian Pulisic, Andre Schurrle and full-back Raphael Guerreiro secured the points.
