Maritzburg United have parted ways with Ghanaian striker Mohammed Anas according to reports in the South African media. The former Mbabane Swallows player is free to join a team of his choice, after being handed his clearance from the KZN outfit.

Having initially been put on the club’s transfer list, the 21-year-old has been allowed to go and further his career elsewhere.

The Pietermaritzburg side has agreed on a settlement figure with the player, with the club chairman Farouk Kadodia confirming that Anas has been issued his clearance.

Anas has been recently linked with Golden Arrows.

The unknown attacker made his name with Mbabane Swallows and Manzini Wanderers before earning of move to the South African Premier Soccer League.
