Marseille fans send clear message: Evra GET OUT

Published on: 06 November 2017

Patrice Evra has paid tribute to "real" Olympique Marseille fans after his Thursday night meltdown.

Evra has been suspended by OM for attacking a fan before their Europa League tie with Vitoria.

He will be interviewed before any disciplinary action is taken.

Writing on Instagram, the former Manchester United defender said: "I'm receiving so much support."

During Sunday's 5-0 Ligue 1 win over Caen, some Marseille fans unfurled a banner which read: "You thought you were above the institution OM and its supporters. We don't want you wearing our colours. Evra get out."

However, Evra thanked the "real Marseille fans" for backing him after his suspension.
