Accra Hearts of demolished Kotoku Royals 4-0 in the MTN FA Cup to progress into the round of 16.

Kotoku Royals started the game on a positive note creating goal scoring opportunities which they failed to take.

With full back Stephen offei attacking from the right side of Kotoku Royals it created space for the dangerous Patrick Razak who found himself in the box taking on three players before eventually fouled to give the phobians a penalty. Vincent Atinga calmly slotted in for the opener in the 21st minute.

The premier league side took advantage of the lead and controlled the game which saw them score the second when Fatawu Mohammed’s cross was met by Patrick Razak who's shot was parried to the path of Kwame Kizito who blasted in the advantage.

Hearts went into the half comfortable but Coach Nuttal had to bring on midfielder Malik Akowuah to replace the injured Leonard Tawiah in the second half.

Royals started in fine form reminiscent of how they began the first half but the experience and strength of the phobians was too much for the division one side.

Cosmos Dauda grabbed the third when he nodded in a cross from the right.

The game looked done and dusted before Patrick Razak with his marauding runs in the final moments got him fouled in the box again and Vincent Atinga put the icing on the cake with an expertly taken penalty.
