Asante Kotoko served their first stadium ban on a good note with a 2-0 win over the underwhelming Ebusua Dwarfs on Sunday.

The Porcupine Warriors had the chance to go ahead from the penalty spot but Songne Yacouba uncharacteristically fluffed it in the 15th minute.

Maxwell Konadu's side did not give up however and finally got their goal in the 83rd minute. 17 year old Matthew Cudjoe found the bottom corner from Justice Blay's pass.

The home side doubled their advantage three minutes later. Naby Keita's shot was saved but Richard Arthur was there to pounce on the rebound.

Kotoko now have 9 points to their name and are in 5th place. The Dwarfs are however at rock bottom and have lost all five games so far.
