Ghana Premier League newcomers, Nations Football Club have beaten Champions Medeama Sporting Club 3-2 at the end of a friendly encounter.
As part of preparations for the start of the new football season, the two clubs engaged in a warm-up game today at the Glow Lamprey Soccer Academy.
Although Medeama SC went into the game as favourites, the team was stunned by the opponent.
A fantastic first-half display saw Nations FC leading the Yellow and Mauve outfit by three goals to one.
After recess, Medeama SC managed to net a second goal but could not complete a comeback and lost 3-2.

Today’s friendly is also helping Medeama SC to prepare for the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.
Up next for the Tarkwa-based club, the team will take on ASKO de Kara in another friendly match before going on to face Remo Stars FC in the Champions League.
