Mats Hummels was in humorous disbelief on Friday morning when he learned that former Borussia Dortmund team-mate Henrikh Mkhitaryan had won Manchester United's Goal of the Month contest...again.
Mkhitaryan scooped the prize following his fine finish against reigning Premier League champions Leicester City at the start of the month and has made quite a habit of scoring very good goals in what is debut season at Old Trafford.

It is already his third such award - the backheel volley against Sunderland in December remains his best - and that's even after missing a number of weeks through injury earlier in the campaign.

Responding to his old colleague's message of gratitude on Twitter, Bayern Munich centre-backHummels joked, "Come on, it's like the 8th time you win this. Do they even nominate other players or do you just decide which goal you want to win with?"

To which the club cheekily replied:
Micki's on fire, @MatsHummels - be fair!  https://t.co/lCRrQ34Rtc
Will there be another for March?
