Matthew Amoah steers lower side Halsterenin Dutch FA second round

Ex Ghana striker Matthew Amoah scored as his club side RKSV Halsteren progressed to the second round of KNVB Beker Cup.

Amoah equalized for his side from the spot after VVOG had taken the lead to push the tie to penalty shootouts.

Halsteren goalie Arien Pietersma saved two penalties as they won 4-2 to qualify for the next round of the KNVB Cup tournament.

Their next game is against third division club Capelle on Wednesday, August 24.
