Asante Kotoko midfielder, Maxwell Baakoh is set to undergo a knee surgery.
The 24-year-old picked up a knock during Kotoko’s 3-2 loss to the Zambian side, Nkana FC, in the Confederation Cup game which sidelined the player for the rest of the competition, he also missed the NC special competition.
The former Karela middle man has been booked to undergo final surgery to remove all metallic implants after series of rehabilitations.
He is expected to be back in action for the Porcupine Warriors three weeks after the surgery.
