Maxwell Konadu assigned with two key expectations at kotoko

Newly appointed head coach of Asante Kotoko Maxwell Konadu has been charged to win the Ghana Premier League this season and also qualify to CAF confederation cup group stages.

Konadu signed a two-year deal with the porcupine warriors and he's tasked to win the domestic league which they've won on 24 occasions.

The Reds heads into the new season as  the champions of the Tier 1 Special Competition.

The 45-year-old coach has an assignment of helping the Kumasi based club to qualify for the group stages of the CAF Champions League for the first time in 14 years.

Konadu will be assisted by former Karela United coach Johnson Smith, who was runner-up in last season Tier 1 Special Competition.
