Kotoko coach Maxwell Konadu hopes that President Akufo-Addo will lift the football ban so clubs can train for the upcoming season.
Football in Ghana has been on hold since March due to the COVID-19 pandemic but some national sides has been given special permission to prepare for their qualifiers.
Expectations are high tonight as the President is scheduled to speak to the nation and the football fraternity will want to hear easing of restrictions on contact sports.
Maxwell Konadu shared his thoughts on his twitter page saying
“Should we expect some good news this evening fellow GHANAIANS,” he tweeted.
The Sports and Information Ministers have also given some hints about easing of restrictions on sports this week.
