Maxwell Konadu unhappy with Kotoko's display against Eleven Wonders

Asante Kotoko head coach Maxwell Konadu has warned his team to improve their performance to stand a chance of winning of the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League title despite beating  Eleven Wonders 1-0 on Sunday.

The Porcupine Warriors recorded a slim victory in their opening game of the new season at the Baba Yara stadium.

Midfielder Justice Blay scored in the 3rd minute of the game to hand the Reds all three points as they made a winning start to the new season.

Speaking at his post match-presser, coach Maxwell Konadu expressed his displeasure at his team's performance and cautioned them to improve ahead of the upcoming games.

"The season is still young and there are many teams who equally wants to win the league hence we need to be competitive."

"We can't continue to play like this and expect to win the league," he said.

"It's early days yet and we can't promise anything but, we know what we can offer our teaming fans , we are also here trying to win the league".

Asante Kotoko will face Legon Cities in the match-day two of the on-going 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season.
