Maxwell Konadu wishes Black Meteors well ahead of opening game against Cameroon

Black Stars B head coach Maxwell Konadu has wished Black Meteors well ahead of their Group A opener against Cameroon in the 2019 Africa U-23 Cup of Nations in Egypt on Friday.

The Black Meteors will face the Indomitable Lions at the Cairo International Stadium in their match day one of the competition.

Ahead of the game today, the former Asante Kotoko gaffer sent a goodwill message to the team ahead of their opening game.

"Good luck to the Black Meteors as they kick start their campaign #God be with Ghana", he wrote on his personal twitter handle.

Both teams are making their debut at the tournament with Ghana looking to secure a ticket to next year’s Olympic Games in Tokyo.

Ghana have been draw in Group A alongside host Egypt, Mali and Cameroon.
