AC Milan striker M'Baye Niang has rejected an offer from Everton.

The Liverpool Echo says Niang has turned down the chance to move to Everton in the hope that a transfer to Arsenal materialises.

Niang had looked like following Jordan Pickford and Davy Klaassen as Everton's latest summer signing after Steve Walsh flew to Italy in order to thrash out a deal, but all has now gone quiet on the potential move.

The 22-year-old winger had a successful loan spell at Watford during the second half of last season, but has struggled for consistency in Milan, and the Serie A giants are ready to sell the player for around £15m.

Reports today suggest that Niang is no longer interested in a move to Goodison Park.
