Medeama SC's coach, Nebojsa Kapor, described their recent game against Asante Kotoko as a "very tough" encounter.

The match, which took place on Saturday at the Akoon Park, ended in a 1-1 draw during the 28th week of the league.

Medeama, the reigning champions, found themselves trailing after Ugandan striker Steven Muwala scored for Asante Kotoko in the 22nd minute.

The goal came from a corner kick that Medeama failed to defend effectively. However, Diawusie Taylor managed to equalize for Medeama in the 57th minute, scoring from the penalty spot.

Reflecting on the game, Kapor expressed his views on the team's performance. "When you start a game like we did today, conceding from a corner kick because we didn't defend well, it's always tough to get back into the game," he said. Despite the setback, Kapor praised his team for their resilience and their ability to create chances.

He also highlighted the team's quick refreshment of tactics and the belief they held in changing the game's course, which led to a strong start in the second half.

However, Kapor admitted to feeling slightly disappointed with how the team continued after scoring the equalizing goal. He acknowledged that sometimes, unforeseen events like injuries can affect the game's outcome.
