Medeama Sporting Club has reduced the price tag of Asante Kotoko target Justice Blay from $100,000 to $50,000.
The Ghana Premier League record holders are bent on securing the services of the highly-rated midfielder in the ongoing transfer window after impressing during a loan stint last year.
According to Kumasi-based Pure FM, Medeama SC has replied Asante Kotoko SC’s official bid of $20,000 via email, indicating they have reduced the Justice Blay price tag from $100,000 to $50,000.
This gives the Porcupine Warriors club a boost in their chase to sign the sought-after midfielder.
Sources are reporting that the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Asante Kotoko, Nana Yaw Amponsah will in the coming days hold crunch talks with officials of Medeama SC to finalize a deal for Justice Blay.
The acquis ion of the midfielder will massively strengthen the Reds ahead of a season where they will competing in Africa as well as the local competitions.
