Medeama SC goalkeeper Eric Ofori Antwi trains with teammates after settling issues with club

Highly-rated shot-stopper, Eric Ofori Antwi has returned to training at Medeama SC after solving his issues with the club.

Prior to starting training with his teammates today, the goalkeeper had been dragged before the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for absenting himself from training for weeks.

Although Eric Ofori Antwi explained that he asked for permission to recover from an injury, Medeama SC insisted that his misconduct deserved punishment.

However, on the back of friendly talks and an apology from the goalkeeper, he has now smoked the peace pipe with his employers.

He has trained with his teammates and is expected to make the matchday squad for the Ghana Premier League game against Elmina Sharks on Sunday, July 4, 2021.
