The Communications Director of Medeama Sporting Club, Patrick Akoto has issued a warning to all Premier League clubs ahead of the start of the new football season.
Delivering a short speech at the launch of the upcoming league season on Tuesday, August 29, he said Medeama SC will outplay the other teams to retain the league title.
“I bring you fraternal and sporting greetings from the good people of Tarkwa. The home of the Ghana Premier League champions. We are here for a very simple message. We are determined as a club to outsmash all teams in the Premier League to retain the title,” Patrick Akoto said.
Meanwhile, Medeama SC has also set sight on reaching the group stages of the CAF Champions League after going past the first preliminary round.
“Let me just add Mr. President that amid all the doubts and it’s associated concomitants we have managed to navigate our way through the waters in Nigeria to beat Remo Stars and advance. We promise you that despite the humongous task against Horoya we are determined to make Ghana very very proud by qualifying to the group stage,” Patrick Akoto said in his speech.
