Medeama SC have joined the race to sign Berekum Chelsea talisman Stephen Amankona and will have to beat competition from Dreams FC.
The young attacker was one of the key players for the Blues last season in the Ghana Premier League as he helped the team to escape relegation.
With clubs looking to bolster their respective clubs for the 2021/2022 football season, Stephen Amankona has attracted interest from a few of the teams.
Besides the interest from Dreams FC, Medeama SC are also reportedly keen on recruiting the highly-rated forward in the off-season.
According to information gathered, Berekum Chelsea are willing to sell the player but will only listen to offers of not less than $50,000.
Last season, Stephen Amankona was one of just a few players that scored more than 10 goals.
The attacker netted 11 goals and provided five assists for Berekum Chelsea in the Ghana Premier League.
