Medeama SC splash cash to sign 7 new players

Medeama Sporting Club (SC) has announced the signing of 7 new players today as they prepare to kick off their campaign in the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League this weekend.

The top-flight giant is once again one of the favorites to lift the league trophy at the end of the season even though the number of clubs this season has been expanded to 18.

In a season that promises to be very tough, Medeama SC has splashed the cash to bring in reinforcement to ensure they can properly compete.

Today alone, they have announced the capture of as many as 7 new players made up of midfielders and strikers.

The players include former New Edubiase striker Prince Opoku-Agyeman, former Kotoko midfielder Michael Yeboah, Benjamin Mensah from Ajax FC, youngster Kofi Asmah from Jopa FC, Nana Kofi Babil from Charity FC, Joseph Cudjoe and Desmond Gyabeng.

They will play various roles for the Medeama SC in the upcoming season but may likely miss the opening match of the season which has been scheduled for this weekend.
