Medeama SC step up preparations for first leg of clash against Remo Stars in CAF Champions League

Ghana Premier League champions, Medeama Sporting Club are hopeful of qualifying to the next round of the playoffs of the CAF Champions League.

The Tarkwa-based club last season excelled in the Ghanaian top-flight league and managed to clinch the league title.

As winners of the Ghana Premier League, the Yellow and Mauve outfit get to represent the country in the CAF Champions League in the 2023/24 season.

Drawn to face off with Remo Stars FC in the preliminary round of the CAF inter-club competition, Medeama SC have been training in the past weeks as part of the preparations for the first leg contest.

Today, the club has stepped up the preparations with intensified training sessions.

The first leg of the tie between the Ghanaian Champions and Remo Stars will be played on Sunday, August 20.

The game will be played at the Cape Coast Stadium and will kick off at 15:00gmt.
