Medeama SC, led by business mogul Moses Armah, has achieved an extraordinary milestone after being crowned the champions of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League, earning a remarkable reward of GHS 300,000.

Sources close to the club and the Ghana Football Association (GFA), as reported by GHANAsoccernet.com, confirm that the Yellow and Mauves will receive this astronomical sum in the upcoming weeks.

Medeama secured their championship title with a resounding 3-0 victory over Tamale City, marking their first-ever triumph in the history of the club.

Their key striker, Jonathan Mensah Sowah, played a pivotal role by scoring a hat trick, ensuring that the club, which had come close to winning the Ghana top-flight title on two previous occasions, finally claimed it on Sunday.

In their journey to become champions, Medeama also condemned Tamale City to relegation after just one season in the Ghana Premier League.

Moses Armah's vision to transform the Tarwa-based club into one of the finest in Ghana is now beginning to materialize.

Armah initially purchased Kessben FC for a reported $600,000 in 2011, rebranding it as Medeama and demonstrating a strong commitment to nurturing its growth.
