Medeama have secured the signing of former Ghana Premier League topscorer Diawisie Taylor in the ongoing transfer window.

The former Karela United marksman joins the Yellow and Mauves on a two-year deal and is expected to play a huge role for the club.

The 24-year-old attacker is aiming to rediscover his form following a setback at the Egyptian Premier League outfit Modern Future. His spell with the club did not go expected and is keen on reshaping his career with the Ghanaian champions.

Taylor was the top scorer of the Ghanaian top-flight in 2020-21 campaign after netting 18 goals in 31 appearances for Karela United at the time.

His top performance earned him a move to Egyptian side Future FC, followed by a stint with Al Merrikh in Sudan.

However, he couldn't live up to the billing in Sudan and returned to the Egyptian club in August 2022 before his contract was abrogated a month later.

Taylor becomes the club's third signing in this window after Michael Enu and Kwaku Osei.

He is expected to form strike partnership with leading marksman Jonathan Sowah.
