Medeama show interest in Karela United’s forward Emmanuel Owusu Boakye

Ghana Premier League champions, Medeama SC have reportedly shown an interest Karela United winger Emmanuel Owusu Boakye.

The Yellow and Mauves are keen to add up to their squad ahead of their African campaign next season and has therefore targeted Owusu Boakye.

Footballghana.com understands Evans Adotey is a huge admirer of the Karela United marksman and is keen to secure his services.

Medeama are expected to submit official bid in the coming days in their bid to secure his services for the 2023/24 season.

Medeama will represent Ghana in the CAF Champions League next season after clinching the league title.

The Tarkwa-based club faces a daunting test to perform in Africa following an unimpressive performance from Ghanaian clubs in recent times.

However, the club has decided to bolster their squad in order to make impact next season.

The Tarkwa-based outfit has already snap up Tamale City captain Godknows Dzakpasu who had a descent season with the Tamale Citizens.

Owusu Boakye played 21 games, scored 7 goals and provided 9 assists in the just-ended season.
