Medeama SC star Agyei Boakye has tipped Accra Hearts of Oak to win the GHALCA G8 tournament after reaching the finals, where they face Dreams FC.

Accra Hearts of Oak booked their place in the finals after beating Kumasi Asante Kotoko 4-2 on penalties, following a barren 90 minutes of action.

Meanwhile, Dreams triumphed on penalties against Medeama to also reach the finals.

However, Agyei Boakye who played against both sides in the competition picked the rainbow club to win the tournament.

“After playing Hearts and Dream I can predict Hearts of Oak will beat Dreams FC to win the G8 trophy. Though we beat Hearts by 2:0 because they play with experience and play hard football,” Medeama’s Agyei Boakye told Aseda FM.

Hearts of Oak will play Dreams on Sunday, as both sides continue with preparations ahead of the upcoming season slated for February 11th.
