Medeama trainer Augustine Evans Adotey has opened up on the club’s African campaign next season.

The Yellow and Mauves will represent Ghana in next season’s CAF Champions League after emerging as winners of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League campaign.

Medeama clinched their first ever Ghana Premier League title after beating Tamale City 3-0 at Akoon Park on the final day games on Sunday.

A brace from Jonathan Sowah and Joshua Agyemang’s strike propelled the Tarkwa-based club to victory on Sunday.

“Too early to predict but all that I need to say is, let’s wait and see the way forward. The first mission is fulfilled and my second task was to make sure that we make use of the new constructed stadium, so now that we’ve qualified, it is time for the management, and myself as well to decide the way forward.

Medeama's last participation in CAF inter-club competition saw them reach the group stages of the Confederation Cup after eliminating South African giants Mamelodi Sundowns in 2016.
