Ghana Premier League club Medeama SC will be without midfield trio consisting of Kwasi Donsu,Rashid Nortey and Agyei Boakye for their league opener against Great Olympics.
The club has confirmed that Donsu currently has a thigh problem and Nortey currently has malaria.
Boakye injured his elbow during the preseason and that has ruled him out of the tie as well.
The Mauve and Yellows however can boast of other good midfield options ahead of their opener at the Akoon Park.
They beat Ole Dade 1-0 in the same venue last season.
