Former Medeama SC captain Joseph Tetteh Zutah has stressed the importance of bolstering the squad in preparation for their participation in the 2023/24 CAF Champions League.

After clinching their first-ever Premier League title in the previous season, the Mauve and Yellows have earned the privilege to represent Ghana in the prestigious continental tournament.

During an interview with Radio Gold, Zutah, a long-serving member of Medeama SC, shared his insights on the matter and highlighted the club's aspirations.

“I know that we have also learnt from our mistakes and there are certain things that we want to do right.

“Because we know what it takes to compete there, we need to have quality in the team.

He further emphasized the club's intentions to make significant additions to strengthen the squad and increase their chances of triumph in the upcoming CAF Champions League campaign.

“Obviously we will make some quality inclusion to beef up the squad and see how best we can go.”
