Michael Agbekpornu wins Albanian Cup with KS Egnatia

Ghanaian midfielder Michael Agbekpornu has won the Albanian Cup with KS Egnatia. 

The Albanian Cup final played on Thursday between KF Tirana and KS Egnatia ended with a 0-1 result, which after the 0-0 regular time result went to extra time with both teams playing a total of 100 minutes with 10 players.

KF Tirana's Elvi Berisha was sent off in the 27th minute and KS Egnatia's Jackson Laurentino was also sent off a few seconds to the end of the clash.

Michael Agbekpornu came on in the 63rd minute to replace Arbin Zejnulai.

KS Egnatia's Jackson Laurentino scored the game's only goal in the 115th minute from the penalty spot.

Michael Agbekpornu joined the Albanian first division side on loan from Ghana Premier League side Dreams FC.

KS Egnatia's was impressed with his overall performance and made his stay permanent after his loan deal ended.

His contract with KS Egnatia ends on 30th June 2025.
