Ghana Premier League returnees Bofoakwa Tano have shortlisted three top coaches to take up the role at the club ahead of the start of the season.

The Sunyani-based club gained promotion back to the Ghanaian top-flight after more than a decade in the Division One League.

Fuseini Abubakar was the man who guided the team to secure promotion to the Ghana Premier League but is not qualified to be in the dugout for top-flight games because he does not hold a CAF A License certificate.

This means the club will have to appoint a qualified tactician before the start of the 2023/24 football season.

According to Kumasi-based Kessben FM, Bofoakwa Tano have shortlisted three coaches for the club’s coaching job ahead of the new season.

It is said Michael Osei, Bismark Kobi Mensah and Yaw Acheampong are on the three-man shortlists for the coaching job.

The former Black Meteors assistant coach is currently out of contract at Bibiani Goldstars and could be in line for Bofoakwa Tano’s job.

Bismark Kobi Mensah, on the other hand is currently jobless after leaving Great Olympics. He has been replaced by Annor Walker.

Yaw Acheampong, a former Ghana international has been out of the system for sometime after leaving Medeama. He will be looking forward to returning to the dugout next season.
